Los Coyotitos Del Racho Brings people Together Across DFW.

Long before the packed dance floors, wedding performances, and growing online audience, Los Coyotitos Del Rancho was simply a group of family members and close friends gathering together to play music around Dallas-Fort Worth. What started as casual backyard jam sessions slowly evolved into one of the most talked about norteño groups performing across the metroplex today.

There was never a master plan behind the group’s rise. No auditions, marketing campaigns, or carefully built image. The foundation was simple from the beginning. A love for music, family traditions, and the joy of playing together. That authenticity is exactly what continues to connect with audiences across DFW.

The group’s roots run deep in both Texas and Mexican culture. Inspired by the sounds and traditions of Michoacán and Guerrero, Los Coyotitos Del Rancho combines classic norteño influences with a fresh modern energy that feels natural instead of forced. Their music carries the warmth of traditional family gatherings while still delivering the excitement younger audiences want to hear at celebrations and live events.

Founder Pedro Velazquez helped shape the group alongside his sons José Velazquez and Pedro Velazquez Jr., as well as several family members and longtime friends.

The group’s name itself traces back to Pedro’s nickname from back home, “El Coyotito,” which eventually inspired the identity fans throughout DFW now recognize. One of the biggest reasons audiences gravitate toward Los Coyotitos Del Rancho is the chemistry between the members. Nothing about their performances feels rehearsed in a corporate or manufactured way. Their connection comes from years of spending time together both on and off stage. They already understand each other’s rhythm, reactions, and personalities, creating performances that feel genuine from the first song to the last dance.

Like many independent artists, the road was not always smooth. The group openly acknowledges that there were moments when songs did not sound right, performances needed improvement, and doubts began to creep in. Instead of giving up, they leaned into practice and continued refining their sound until everything clicked into place. That hard work eventually opened doors throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Weddings and quinceañeras became stepping stones that introduced them to new audiences. Guests who saw them perform at family celebrations soon began booking them for restaurants, bars, festivals, and private events across the metroplex. Today, Los Coyotitos Del Rancho continues building momentum with performances scheduled throughout the year and music streaming on YouTube and other digital platforms. Their growing popularity reflects something audiences deeply appreciate in today’s music scene: authenticity.

For Los Coyotitos Del Rancho, music represents more than entertainment. It is about family, culture, tradition, and community. It is proof that something born under backyard lights with family and friends can grow into a movement that brings people together across DFW celebrations everywhere.
