Mike & Bill with Pop’s Casino Parties & Events
In the fast-paced world of events across Dallas-Fort Worth, Pop’s Casino Parties & Events has become synonymous with energy, professionalism, and unforgettable experiences. At the center of it all is Bill, a man whose journey blends passion, resilience, and a deep commitment to doing right by people.
Today, Pop’s Casino boasts an impressive inventory of 45 blackjack tables, a milestone that reflects both growth and opportunity. More tables mean more events, more clients served, and more moments created. Each table is not just a piece of equipment but a product of craftsmanship. Bill, alongside Mike and Jeff, builds every table by hand with careful attention to detail. That hands-on approach ensures quality while reinforcing their pride in their work.
The demand speaks for itself. In a recent surge, Pop’s Casino was booked for 50 events in just 15 days. Card dealers were dispatched throughout Dallas-Fort Worth and Texas, bringing the casino experience to parties, corporate gatherings, and celebrations of all kinds. The momentum has been so strong that Bill has already had to decline additional bookings. Business is not just good, it is thriving.
Yet, what truly sets Bill apart is not just growth, but character. He is known for valuing relationships just as much as revenue. That integrity was put to the test in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. As the event industry came to a sudden stop, Bill made the difficult decision to refund $12,000 in non-refundable deposits. For him, it was never just about contracts. It was about people. While many businesses struggled to navigate uncertainty, Bill chose compassion, a decision that continues to define his reputation today.

Bill’s story begins in Fort Worth, where his love for gaming started early. At around 12 years old, his parents would regularly take him to and from Las Vegas. Those trips planted the seeds of a lifelong passion. By the time he turned 21, Bill was traveling to Vegas frequently, playing poker alongside his parents and even exploring games around the world.
The Big Transition To Poker
Life shifted when his mother fell ill and expressed that she did not want to spend her later years in a retirement facility. Bill stepped up, dedicating nine years to caring for her. During that time, he worked at a bank but eventually had to leave his position. That transition led him to become a part-time poker dealer at tournaments, a move that would ultimately change his life.
For ten years, Bill immersed himself in the world of poker, dealing games every Sunday and learning every nuance of the craft. By the time that chapter ended in 2015, he had developed a deep understanding of the industry and experience working with various casino companies throughout DFW.
Encouragement Turned Into Action
Encouraged by his mother, Bill took a leap of faith. He began building casino tables by hand and even converted her van into a cargo vehicle to transport them. Pop’s Casino was born with just ten tables, a few slot machines, and a simple game of Jenga. From there, the business steadily grew.
As demand increased, Bill expanded into creating customizable tables for other companies, recognizing that the DFW market was large enough for everyone to succeed. That collaborative mindset helped strengthen his network and elevate the entire industry in DFW.
Today, Pop’s Casino continues to move and shake across the region, driven by craftsmanship, integrity, and a story rooted in family and perseverance.
