When Experience Matters
Patricia Ray-Lipsey, PRL Small Business Consulting
The Editorial Team
The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is known for opportunity, growth, and reinvention, and Patricia Ray-Lipsey, DBA, founder of PRL Small Business Consulting, is a strong example of that spirit in action. Originally from Georgetown TX, Patricia relocated to Dallas after accepting a position with the Federal Reserve Bank. That move placed her in one of the most dynamic business regions in the country. Over time, DFW became the place where she saw real potential to help entrepreneurs build sustainable, well-structured businesses and grow with confidence.
Today, Patricia provides Small Business Services and Consulting throughout the Metroplex with a focus on strategy, operations, and long-term planning. She also makes it clear in her message that tax season does not have to be scary. Patricia helps clients prepare year-round and shows them how to utilize taxes to their advantage rather than react to them at the last minute.
Patricia Has Over 30 Years of Experience
What truly sets Patricia apart is her 30-plus years of experience. That depth of knowledge allows her to see potential issues coming long before they surface. While newer consultants often focus only on filing, Patricia brings foresight and strategy that protect businesses well into the future.
Her work is rooted in professional expertise and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. Like many consultants, Patricia has faced challenges, including finding clients who can afford her detailed services and maintaining a consistent client pipeline. Instead of slowing down, she leaned into networking across DFW, building relationships and connecting with business owners who needed her expertise.
Those efforts paid off in September 2025, when Patricia received a call that proved to be her biggest breakthrough of the year. Patricia serves as the treasurer of the DFW Network Chamber and contributes to our vibrant community through her church and other notable organizations across the metroplex.
