From elegant parties to networking events
Before stepping into entrepreneurship, Monica spent years developing leadership and operational experience in customer service and property management. Those roles sharpened her ability to lead teams, solve problems quickly, and manage the countless details required to run successful events.
Over time, she realized her true passion was creating meaningful experiences for others. That realization inspired her to take a leap of faith and establish Tarrant Events Center, combining her business background with creativity and vision.
What separates Monica from many others in the event industry is her hands-on approach and genuine care for her clients.

Courage, sacrifice and persistence
Like many entrepreneurs, Monica faced challenges early in her journey. Stepping into business ownership required courage, sacrifice, and persistence. She had to learn how to stand out in a highly competitive industry while managing financial pressures, renovations, staffing, and operational demands.
Yet through every obstacle, she remained determined. Monica admits there were moments of uncertainty, especially during slower seasons as a first-time business owner, but she never allowed setbacks to define her future.
Perhaps the greatest source of Monica’s strength comes from her personal story: she became a mother at just 15 years old. By age 25, she was raising four children as a single mother while working two jobs and attending school. The road was not easy. Still, Monica refused to quit. Those years taught her resilience, discipline, and perseverance. Today, she proudly says that her children are among her greatest motivations and accomplishments.
